Change of Scenery

There are SO many great things about working from home. I can't tell you how much I hated working in an office, answering phones, being around co-workers who did irritating things, and going to meeting after meeting that could absolutely have been an email.

I love being able to wake up when I want (or at least, when my dogs want.) I thrive under a flexible schedule, an organized planner, the ability to stop what I'm doing and start a load of laundry - these are all excellent parts of working from home but being able to stay in my jammies? That's the icing on the cake.

However, there are times when I have to get OUT. Living at the same place you work can be a little irritating (not as irritating as coworkers, but I do tend to climb the walls once or twice a year.) When this happens, I need a change of scenery.

I need a vacation!

I was fortunate enough to visit my best friend in Las Vegas a few weeks back which was good for me as a mom, getting away from the husband and kiddo and being free of duties for a few days. Next up is a family vacation, though, where I don't work at all and I just enjoy being somewhere else with the people I love.

More on that to come!
